Bananas
Cecropia Ecolodge, La Tigra,, Costa Rica
N 10° 18' 42.569" W 84° 35' 9.978"
Shot during my first morning at Cécropia Ecolodge in Costa Rica, and the very first photo I took on this trip. This image shows the contrast between the brushed stainless steel backsplash behind the stovetop, the cluster of bananas outside the window, and the shadows cast throughout the kitchen from the light streaming in. This photo is part of a new exploration into black and white photography, capturing the raw interplay of light and shadow when color is stripped away.
